My excitement of seeing the news article & reading that Mickey Mouse was returning in original form was quickly turned to devastation & disappointment.I want my grandchildren to get acquainted with & to fall in love with Mickey as much as I have been for 50 years. The new Mickey Mouse Club House is dull & boring; without the emotional warmness & excitement of the original. I understand revising the theme song but, the new one has no pizzas or punch to it.

Mickey has been made into a mellow mouse with no class or attitude. I realize it is focusing towards small children but, I do not feel it is up beat enough to keep them interested during the show. The speed of action needs to be moved up several notches. Give the children some credit, now days they are brighter & more advanced at earlier ages than back in my day. 8/20 ADD ON: Okay, after watching several more episodes maybe it is not as bad as my first reaction but, I still believe it is too slow & passive to keep attention span. 'The tootles'when calling for tools is lame since,it sounds like what is used in slang when meaning 'good bye'. I did find my 4 year old granddaughter watching the show the other day,which is a + but, good luck keeping children interested if the speed is not stepped up soon.
